Places to visit in Mull and Iona include Calgary, Dervaig Tobermory, Ulva and Iona Abbey to name but a few.

Tobermory, where the children's television programme, Balamory, is filmed, is a 45 minute drive to the north of the island.

There are boat trips to Staffa and Fingal's Cave (pictured right), Wild Life Tours to see deer, hawks and eagles, and boat trips to see whales and dolphins.

The island of Iona is reached by a small ferry from Fionnphort in the south of the island.

Iona is only 3 miles (4.8 km) from North to South and 1¾ miles (2.4 km) East to West.
